My student worker task was to research and produce a recruitment presentation for prospective CAFES students during the universities College Visit Days. The power point presentations is 12.5 minutes long show-casing our facilities, faculty, students and everyone's involvement in the college. It was shown for every college visit day. Students and their families were very receptive to the content and we fielded great questions from the presentation to further discuss college life and course work.
In 2007, I was hired as the Asst. Agricultural Technology Contest Coordinator, the following year I moved into the Coordinator position. I worked with the CAFES faculty and students to host 18 contests for WI FFA students in spring and MN FFA students in fall.
